In 2003, when I was warming up, my wife Aurélie noticed that I turned the pelvis a little more than the norm. I immediately wondered if I could contort myself in this direction.
Since there were contortionists, they have twisted front and back, but never in rotation. I usually train for 3 or 4 hours per day, I added half an hour to my stretching, in order to get closer to the famous “180°”, millimeter by millimeter. In 2006 I showed it for the first time in the “Cirque du Grand Phenix”.
In 2013, I came to the idea of making another exceptional contortion, I invented the "180 ° Yenivatov battement". It is now my legs that rotate around my pelvis.
These extreme acts exist in several versions of different styles and have appeared in many television shows in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Russia, Japan and this year in the United States.
